The Professional Healthcare Program in local hospitals in Nepal is available to medical professionals, medical students, nurses and trainees in any area of medicine. All volunteers will have the opportunity to put their skills and knowledge into practice, in addition to providing a much-needed service to the local Nepali community. You will experience first hand how basic medical care works in a developing country and how to contribute exchanging skills. Each week of your volunteering you have the possibility to be in a different room and get to know the day to day work made in Hospitals and Health Centers in Nepal.
