Project Overview

The project is a professional up-skilling program that provides the youth of the local underserved communities with the right skills and competencies that support them to grow their careers. This capability-building program offers soft-skills & technical training courses to youth who struggle to access high school level education and will prepare them for entry-level jobs in various industrial sectors.

What extra costs will I have?

  • Visa, flights, travel insurance (mandatory), vaccinations, in-country trips or tours, transport to and from your placement, transfer back to the airport at conclusion of the program.
  • Spending money – Volunteers in India – Kolkata generally find US$40 to be sufficient for weekly expenses
